Sweaty Knockers - The Aristocrats (by francisco444)

I saw this band live wednesday last, this is a free download off  their website. best show i’ve seen ever live. its an absolute travesty that only a 100 people were there to watch this. if you like progressive fusion / instrumental / wizardry, this is for you.  I’ve always been a big fan of guthrie govan, but this is something else.

support them and buy their album !

Festival - Sigur Rós 127 Hours Soundtrack (for movie edit: check description) (by TeamFruit)

I heard the opening bars to this song at the gym today and though most will tend to associate this song with the final scene of the movie ‘127 hours’, i think this song in isolation is beautiful. Its got great tones, has a very strong melody line and great harmonic progressions. And the composition is so liberating.

I think of all the movies i’ve watched in the last year, a.r.rahman’s work in 127 hours is my favorite, marginally ahead of trent reznor’s work in ‘The Social Network’.

Ivo Papazov and his Wedding Band (by scmm42)

this is beyond anything i’ve ever heard.  The virtuosity of the musicians and the band as a whole is phenomenal.

To quote the anchor who introduces this band “If ever i decide to get married and get a band to play at my wedding, it would be these guys”.
